Why are homeowners dues so high on condos in Myrtle Beach? I am interested in buying a condo but those dues are so high I am leaning toward a house instead.

You need to look at what those HOA dues include. A lot of times they will include insurance, landscaping, common electric and maintenance, cable TV, and more. They have gone up in recent years though. This is do to insurance rates rising.
